Identity released of man who died in Dronfield after fatal collision


Derbyshire police have released the identify of the man who sadly died following an accidental collision between his motorbike and a car last weekend in Dronfield.

57-year old Peter John Bratton, from Sheffield, died after his silver Honda Motorbike was involved in an accidental collision with a Nissan Micra close the Sainsbury’s Petrol Station on Sheffield Road at around 11.25am on Sunday 15th May.

Following the collision Mr Bratton was taken to Chesterfield’s Royal Hospital for treatment before being transferred to Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital but sadly died a short time later.

The incident is believed to be entirely accidental, but police are investigating at the minute to verify details as fully as possible.
