Get Beautiful With Sarah Gray

Sarah Gray - Professional de-uglifier.

Ladies, ladies, ladies… if (unlike Morrissey) you’re going out tonight because you do have a stitch to wear, I’m sure you’ve come to realise squeezing yourself into clothes half a size too small is only half the battle. You’re going to need some makeup otherwise you’re just a 10 to 2 bird in pending. Well, it’s your lucky day, Sarah Gray professional de-uglifier is on hand to turn you from the lady who gets a cab home by herself to the lady who drinks for free.

Sarah Gray’s The Makeup Studio, probably the only shop in The Forge that can cater to a demographic of less than 45, is the diamond in Dronfield’s beauty tiara. Watch out other 30 or so beauty salons in Dronfield, there’s a new lipstick in town. (At this point in the article I should point out I’m not female and I don’t use or know anything about makeup.)

Who is Sarah, where did she come from and do I want her touching my face?

Relax, she’s from Dronfield. Yes, she’s a former student of Dronfield’s premium learning establishment Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School. And Yes, I would probably let her invade my personal space for the sake of looking more attractive.

According to the about me section on her website, Sarah’s interest in all things creative started from a young age (I would speculate around 5, nobody really knows what they’re doing before 5), but never knew exactly she wanted to focus her creativity on. Luckily for all the wanting-to-pull birds of Dronfield, she chose makeup.

Aimee Wood

Dronfield babe Aimee Wood gets the Sarah Gray treatment.

I get that she does makeup for nights out, what other things can she do to make me less ugly for other occasions?

If you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day; If you teach a man to fish, he’ll eat until he’s bored of fish. This proverb can also be applied to the beauty industry, at The Makeup Studio our Saz (Sarah) can provide private 1-to-1 makeup lessons lasting a tedious 1.5 hours for all those wanting to learn some tips or try something new but not how to apply makeup while waiting at a junction.

She also does group parties and as you might expect, weddings. If you’re getting married and you don’t want your future spouse to realise he’s not punching that badly on the wedding day, you’ll probably want a professional makeup artist. Sarah is your gal.
